After security guards tried to escort the protestors from the room, one of them fell to the ground, prompting a horde of Trump supporters to gather around with their iPhones blazing. “Take them out!” yelled one. Another declared, “Light the [anti-Trump protester] motherfucker on fire.” At some point, one man even yelled sieg heil. Reporting from the room, BuzzFeed's McKay Coppins was mystified. “I’m new to Trump rallies so maybe this is normal (?),” he tweeted, “but this is unlike any political event I’ve ever seen.” Trump, he noted, was cheerfully narrating the scrum in real time.

You would have thought the rest of the media would have picked up on a dude shouting a NAZI SLOGAN at a Trump rally.
This is some It Can't Happen Here shit, I will tell you. Buzz Windrip has nothing on Trump. I'm idly glad all the numbers say he can't win the general election.

I saw an article where Putin complemented Trump for being a bright guy. This is literally something straight out of "Duke of the Deer Mountain" by Jin Yong, a historical fiction where the Qing Dynasty attempted to deal with Russian aggression but find that Russians are too thug-like /shady to deal with, so they had to get the Duke, the shadiest guy in China, to deal with them instead. The Duke was an illiterate weasel who learned everything from watching Chinese plays (modern equivalent would be a guy who learned everything from watching movies) and his strategy is always 'this one time I saw this play where they did this thing and it worked', and sure enough he was the only guy who was shady enough to beat the Russians in their game. Except the Duke is fiction and Trump is not!

Donald Trump is just a stupid man's Anne Coulter. Both appeal to bigots; Trump just happens to appeal to a much larger portion of that audience. Unlike Coulter, Trump discovered that bigots don't want a rational argument to present the BS.

Jon Rosenberg (of Scenes From A Multiverse, and Goats) really nailed it on that one.
