Do computer stores sell an attachment to turn the single monitor plug from a vid card into two for the purpose of dual monitors or do you have to get 2 vid cards?  I'm talking extra desktop space, not the same image on 2 monitors.

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>In addition, if i do have to buy a PCI video card can i just pick up a 'decent' one, since i dont want to use that one to game? Which one will the computer use for a game? Ideally, i'd have it use the AGP one, because its a great card (Radeon 9600 pro), while leaving the other one at the desktop so i can still surf (like while dead in CS). Do games do this in a dual monitor setting?

If everyone is as dumb as i am on this topic, know any good sites that can answer these questions? Thanks!</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>There are dual VGA adapters, but most of the newer cards have dual monitor capability anyway. For example, I have an Nvidia 5950 (I think that's what it is) that runs dual monitors from the same card.</div>

so it has 2 DB 15 connectors right out of the card?  Or do you have something that makes the one connector 2?  I'm pretty sure my card has the capability to handle 2 monitors...

<div style='font: 12pt "Cooper Black"; text-align: left; '>While looking at the properties of it i noticed that there is a 'secondary monitor' setting that obviously isnt being used at the moment with all sorts of check boxes that say 'extend desktop to this monitor' and stuff like that. Before i ran out to compUSA or MicroCenter i was just making sure something like what i was looking for existed.</div>
