He has some good points, but it would be nice if it didn't sound like a raving lunatic some of the time...

The anti-American NEA (note: either National Education Association or National Endowment for the Arts) has received huge support from the Bush Administration. The Education Dept. should be abolished as it proves the fallacy of federal control of local anything.

The Education Dept should be abolished? Really? So, we should NOT hire a Secretary of Education, but we SHOULD hire a Secretary of Homeland Security? Jesus, where the fuck do our priorities lie? If the country is permanently fat and stupid, what the fuck does it matter if terrorists blow up our country? It would be a mercy killing because we would be too fucking stupid to care. Our public schools and education depts are the reason why we aren't dirty blokes from the middle ages ranting on about the king.

Look, education is a top priority. One, state-level management of education doesn't work. (This is mainly why Kentucky is 48th in most educated states. Thanks guys!) Two, education is NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER given enough money!!! I cannot stress this enough! No Child Left Behind is a prime example. (Nice, pass the law and then proceed to the tax cuts.)

We spend hundreds of billions of dollars on military and our education budget barely hits a billion. Again, where do our priorities lie?

The UN should be told to leave our country, but alas, all the Republicans and Democrats with any chance of serving in high and powerful positions are part of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Tri-Lateral Commission, or the Bildebergers. These organizations seek to turn the UN into the overseer of a coming socialist slave state one-world government. Both parties are controlled by these organizations.

Uhhh...UN stands for "United Nations", as in every country. We helped establish the UN. Unfortunately, we are also the reason why the UN is mostly useless. Because of our large military and very bad foreign policies, the UN can pass all of the resolutions it wants, but can't enforce many of them because -WE- are the cause, and the rest of the world isn't about ready to go into a World War because of Israel/Cambodia/Iran/Iraq/etc. (but it may eventually come down to that).

If the first-world countries had equal shares of military strength, then one country would not have the force to start bullying other countries (like we do now). They would have to go to the UN, and request help from other countries. If they say no, then the country has no right to pout and go to war anyway. (Shit, that sounds familiar...)

Oh, and what the fuck is "the overseer of a coming socialist slave state one-world government"? Jesus, I thought I'd never hear a crazy neocon with his conspiracy theories. What is this thing with "socialist"? The UN is a fucking democracy, moron! Socialism is a form of economy, not a form of government. "Slave state"? Not hardly! The UN was created to maintain the peace, and unfortunately, they can't do their job if the fucking United States keeps interfering!

Jobs continue to disappear and move overseas because of the H-1B Visa program and other lax trade and immigration policies. We are losing our standard of living to prop up socialist and communist nations around the globe who have cheap, abused labor, and sometimes even slaves as in the case of the communists.

Again, this guy is a raving lunatic still stuck in the Cold War. The wall came down in Germany and Russia is a democracy, so fucking get over it! We aren't losing jobs to socialist and communist nations around the globe. We're losing jobs to democracy countries, like India and Mexico. Yes, China is in there somewhere, but that situation hasn't changed for quite some time. What about some of the other socialist and communist countries?

Sweden? Nope.
North Vietnam? Definitely not. (No US are allowed in NV soil.)
Cuba? Nope. (We got that embargo and all.)
Uhhhh...ummmm...help me out here...

The Bush Administration is proving that the Republican Party is no longer the party of limited federal government, but just a different image of the Democrat Party. America needs better choices and they are not to be found within the power structure that currently exists.

Actually, the Democrat Party is looking like a different image of the Republican Party. I predict that either another party will eventually arise that is NOT a moderate party (which happens in our history every 100 years), or the party will shift back into alignment the way it should.

Why I might vote for a Republican, maybe – only to keep a liberal democrat out of office! Man, does this ever speak volumes to the "lesser of two evils" statement made so often by American voters!

Given the choice between the status quo (which is not working) and change (which is the natural course of things), who am I to hold back the forces of nature? Man, you use liberal like it's a bad word. Yes, I'm a liberal. So the fuck what? I embrace change because the world needs changing.

The whole axiom "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" depends on what your definition of "broke" is. Most consider that to mean "If it ain't broke FOR ME, don't fix it", which is the wrong way of looking at things. We were brought together as communities, not as selfish individuals. Federal programs that help your fellow man (that ACTUALLY WORK!) should be pursued. Cutting everything back and letting everybody fend for themselves is the path to barbarism. Eventually, we would be harking that police and fire depts are a waste of money because people can defend themselves and put out their own fires.
