Is there anyone out there who can just suck it up and go against the current? Where is the, "Hey guys, you know we dont really have that concinving of evidence." That is all it would have taken.
Also, listening to O'Relly the other day he kept not blaming Bush, but instead blamed the CIA and FBI directors and everyone else for bad informtaion. He said even he would have believed Tenet if Tenet had come into his office and said it was a "slam-dunk".
I got to thinking about that and came to the conclusion that that is a bunch of billshit. If i went into one of the partner's offices in my accounting firm about an issue and told my boss that whatever the issue was was a slam-dunk they still would look me in the face and ask for proof. Bush didnt. Any person who is at the head of the chain HAS to atleast get some shred of proof and not go by someone's word. Especially when it is an issue as important as war, so i DO blame Bush for being making a shitty decision based on a few people's word. I also think it is shitty to then push the blame on Tenet and the CIA, even though they did a terrible job. As a leader you cant do that.
If the election was today these would be my reasons for voting Kerry/Edwards
- Bush is a terrible leader
- Republican no longer means fiscally responsible
- Rupublican no longer means less government
I dont know what will change my mind, but Bush better get the ball rolling on some good campaigning because i know a lot of slightly right winged independants who think the same way i do.</div>
