Anyone catch that new burger king commercial? wtf? I remember a short while ago we had people sueing fast food chains for making them fat, now with this Atkins carb craze the fast fast food joints have to resort to things like this which only fuels the fat people to sue. Something has got to change here...
Personally, this carb bullshit is driving me nuts. I read someplace that we have had more new products in the last year in the food industry than ever before due to the demand for low carb food. It is messing up the cereal, beer, and bread industry to the point where corporations like wonder and krispy kreme could go out of business. What is wrong with America?</div>
I've seen low carb bread at the grocery store. BREAD for chrissake.

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>What really bothers me is when I see things that say "Atkins For Life" and have pictures of obviously active people - like a guy on a bicycle. Atheletes can't do Atkins; they need carbohyrdates for fuel. Atkins is basically saying "Listen, you know you're not going to start exercising anyway, so why do you need to have carbohydrates?"</div>

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>I don't think the problem is carbohydrates, I think it's that people eat too much crap that happens to have a lot of carbohyrdates (snack food, candy, fast food) and don't exercise enough.</div>

Add to that the crazy ridiculous portions most restauraunts serve (ultra sized fries, Claim Jumper meals, etc) and that only adds to the problem. Cut all that crap out and voila! You lose weight.</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>Exactly. Low-fat is not necessarily low calories...and in the end, calories are what count. Good point. The old evil used to be sugar. Now it's expanded to all carbs in general...</div>
