I got a new cell phone the other day (finally qualified for sprints $150 off, you have to be a customer for 18 months) and the ringers are polyphonic capable.  My question is, what is the diff between mono and poly phonic?  What about supertones

Mono uses one beep at a time like "Beep boop beep beep" to make a song...

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Polyphonic can have multiple sounds playing at once, like you would have in a real song.

So obviously, polyphonic rings sound better and can mimic songs and stuff better.

My personal favorites are the Super Mario World theme or the Legend of Zelda music. :)</div>
