<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Flip for sure. The really sad thing is, it's not just you Americans that are gonna suffer for your idiocy, the rest of the world has to suffer with you. When we chose a moron Prime Minister, you guys didn't even notice (not like most Americans even know what a Prime Minister is)</div>

<div style='font: 11pt ; text-align: left; '>People are homophobic, it's right up there with racism, but it's more accepted because there's alot less gays and lesbians in the country then oh say every single other ethnic group.</div>
I don't your number estimates are accurate. Finding numbers on this is difficult because it's not asked on a census. I have a quote inside from what looks like a credible site.

<div style='font: 10pt verdana; text-align: left; padding: 0% 10% 0% 10%; '>The site is <a href="
http://www.thetaskforce.org/">The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force</a>. They have a section on research, and this is from a study titled <a href="
http://www.thetaskforce.org/downloads/G ... 4.pdf">The Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Vote, 2004 [pdf]</a>:<blockquote>The LGB vote is as large as the Jewish vote (4% of total voters), slightly smaller than the Latino vote (7%), and about half the size of the African American vote (10%). Of course, many voters are both gay and Black, Latino, and/or Jewish.</blockquote>Since this is on a sample of voters, to extrapolate it to the rest of the country, you have to answer the question of how much more/less likely homosexuals are to vote than heterosexuals. Right now, I think that in general, homosexuals are more likely to vote because of the number of issues that potentially effect them directly.</div>
Here's an interesting statistic I got off of Fark

Scary, huh?</div>

<div style='font: 14pt "Sans Serif"; text-align: justify; padding: 0% 15% 0% 15%; '>Not that suprising. All the polls indicated a neck and neck race, or a slight lead for Bush. Add to that the fact that 18-24 years olds voted in the same proportion as usual (so much for vote or die), and you get a larger than expected Bush victory</div>

<div style='font: 10pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light", "Century Gothic"; text-align: left; '>That can be explained by the tight races on both of Bush's elections.</div>
