I kept both Firefox and IE on my desktop and recently watched as the IE icon switched to the Firefox icon and the shortcut to IE became a shortcut to FF like some macabre, Borg-esque assimilation process. This happen to anyone else?

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Nope. But what I got was MSN Messenger suddenly deciding that it needed to open up every time I access hotmail. This is freezing my IE, so now I have to use Firefox to get my hotmail. Weird</div>

Sometimes it randomly pops up and says "Hey, use me! I do instant messaging and constant name changes!" and I say "Look, fucker. I got Trillian! It uses your network and doesn't suck!"</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>Haha. You mean did the IE logo slowly morph into the Firefox logo? I don't know...I didn't *see* it happen, per se, but it did happen in between restarts/shut downs.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>That's what I'm sayin'. I think it might have actually screwed up my Trillian one time. I had to put all my profile info back in. Thank God the contacts were all there, but all the name changes I did were erased. It was annoying tryin' to remember who everyone is, especially with stupid MSN changes.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Yeah, it was such a pain that I ended up uninstalling it. The .NET Passport thing is cool........ if you actually *want* to use it.</div>
