I knew there was some kind of malware thing going on, but I couldn't find anything in msconfig. Then all of a sudden fifteen malware programs installed themselves on my machine at once.</div>

So I'd advice a firewall, which I assume you have, and some anti-virus (like Norton), and anti-spyware utility (like Spybot). All these together will help you to a large degree.</div>

Just fixed up somebody else's computer a few weeks ago. (I think I made a post on the cleaning process.) If you're good at it, you can go into Safe Mode, and start deleting crap from the registery, especially the Run/RunOnce folders.</div>
