Sometimes I wish things I think about didn't come true. With the technology the coalition forces have, shit like this should be avoidable.

<div style='font: bold 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>Was that supposed to be funny, or just ignorant? I'd think someone with a military background would better understand what can happen on the battlefield...or do you have so little respect for Americans that you think our soldiers would do this on purpose?</div>
I'm ignorant eh.... have YOU heard the transcripts from the two jets and the flight command? and ask me how many times the controller said " FRIENDLIES IN THE AREA, DO NOT FIRE, DO NOT FIRE" before your "soldier" pressed the button....

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>and me being of military background allows me to realize how much protocol these dumbfucks didnt adhere to, and that they obviously werent trained well because the Canadians were using small arms, nothing big enough to even hit their planes.
"Battlefield Confusion" 5 miles from base.... on a DESIGNATED training facility....Canadians told the Americans they were out there a week in advance, all pilots were briefed that they were out there, and he was told not to fire. hmmmmm, does this sound like a soldier to you?</div>

<div style='font: bold 12pt Arial; text-align: left; '>...no denying that guy fucked up, but you haven't answered your implication that it was a purposeful act...weapons are made to kill people, and nobody is fucking perfect...put the two together and this will happen, as it always has whenever there is military conflict...
...do you think they laughed about it after?
...do you think that soldier isn't completely fucked up over this?
...do you think that potentially facing 62 years in prison at hard labor is a joke, or that the men making that decision aren't taking it seriously?
...really, what do you think? ...or are you begging to be on the firing squad?</div>
They arent going to be criminaly charged, the worst that can happen now is they lose their wings. I guess them not being charged criminally is a reprisal for Canada not joining your little party in the Middle East.

Everything I've read made it sound like it was someone on the ground, not in the air, who fired the Patriot. Where are you getting your information?</div>
