I was talking to a friend of mine who has family in Iraq, something funny about the reasons why the Shi-ites are fighting, and why they hate Saddam...

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>They don't hate Saddam because he's a tyrant or anything like that, in fact he said that Saddam for the last decade has had very little power in Iraq. They hate him because he is an infedel; that he is very western influenced and they don't seam to like that. The reason why they are ambushing and fighting the Western troops is because they think that their (the westerners) goal is to conquer Iraq and enforce an even more sinful Western Regime on them.

I guess I should note that my friend (Red is just what everyone calls him) doesn't like Middle Eastern Islam, he thinks they are very backwards but seams to have a respect for them.</div>
