not bad at all!

the issue i have always had with extremely colorful web pages is that people's color choices don't always play nice...

i mean, i like the blue/white I was playing with before I threw up due to an excess of color, and you like your purple/black, but i don't like my blue/white alongside your purple/black. it starts to look like a palette barfed on the page. on the other hand, it does allow for a lot of freedom of expression.

Edit: Oh, there's an option to not display colors too. nice!

I set mine but it gets erased when I go back to my profile again for some reason. EDIT: and now it seems to have worked. Go figure.

Also, you need to make it so you can change the link/vlink colors as well or else usernames and link text will be unreadable if you choose the wrong bg color. I'd also suggest adding a feature that allows us to edit our titles.

Quite cool though. I like it.

Yeah, I do think I need to add the link color deal.

EDIT: I can't even see my color combo on my crappy monitor at home. I really need to get a replacement.

You need to bold and/or enlarge that font, Sine

Mine get erased everytime I go into my profile, which is kind of annoying. Is it supposed to do that, Sine? I think it should store your choices as part of the profile.

I like it for now. I may get tired of it at some point though.

I put a clean set of phpBB files and re-modded. Unforunately, the Quick Post doesn't exist again, because the MOD that I used I didn't like. I'll probably create my own version, because I wanted very basic Fast Reply, with a seperate button that you can toggle on and off.

The good news is that the patches are installed fresh and completely clean. Also, the link color option is there, too. I had problems with the UPS patch because of other buggy patches interfering. The Quick Reply didn't need seperate option. It just needs a Javascript button, like the Invision Board verison. Also, the In Reply To patch just pissed me off with how buggy it was. I'll never download anything from phpBBHacks.com again.

It's pretty tight, just wish the restriction on avatars wasn't so small and we could upload BMP.

Image size or filesize? And why bmp? thats a raw format that can be easily converted to jpg or gif.

hell, I bummed up the limits to 64KB and 96x96. And for god's sake, BMP isn't even a web format for pictures. Even Windows Paint can save it in some other format. BMP is some old legacy MS format that's getting phased out, anyway.
