Background colors

I have changed Gentz's background color. Magenta is not a valid b/g color. I know it's there, but it's fucking ugly, okay. Part of putting in this MOD is ensuring responsible colors. Let's not make my job harder, okay.

Haha. I was wondering what happened to my brilliant color scheme. I'll get you for this, Swiper, if it's the last thing I do.

Oh my god, that is almost as ugly. You're really making me consider an "allow UPS" option in the user administration screen.

Ahem. I believe I predicted this, yes? I've disabled background colors because I find that they all clash. I have the fonts enabled, though.

Actually, it has more to do with my piece of shit monitor at home. Carry on.

It's a matter of preference. I personally like everybody with their own personality with their colors, as long as it's readable and isn't TOO outlandish.

I find that the avatars and fonts provide enough personality to the posts. Actually, I find that the different colored backgrounds detracts from the personality of the avatars.

I kind of like the variety of colors. I may get tired of it, which makes the ability to turn them off awesome.

I'll stick with avatars on, no colors/funky fonts. It's less obnoxious that way.

For fun though tort, you should turn them on just to laugh.

I like my retinas, so I try to cut down on the amount of bright, clashing colors I subject them to in any given day.
Avatars have always been more than adequate for figuring out frequent posters at a glance. I don't need to see some sort of rainbow color orgasm to further distinguish what's on my screen.

I can forsee a problem with some people having BG colors off and some having them on. Namely spoilers. In my case I just posted a big spoiler for MGS3 and I set my text color to be the same as my background color to hide it. But anybody that has BG colors off is going to have it standing out big and clear for them to see, unless I'm mistaken. It might be good to address this now before Sine gets pissed off at Zeus again for posting a Naurto spoiler.

yeah, I saw the "spoiler" text. I edited the name of the thread to reflect that, but I hadn't thought about the incompatability.

Yeah, I plan on including a
BBCode tag, but I wasn't sure if I was going to include it into the UPS patch or as a different one.
Actually, I think I have a different way of implementing it, so I'll write it as a different patch.

Incidentally, any chance for a mod that lets us turn off sigs?
We can choose to disable our own, but still have to view the sigs of others.

Yeah, that'll be in there, too, though as a login option, not as a profile option.
