so i'm not really just doing salvia anymore, and i figured i'd start a new post to chronicle my experiences with leaves of all sorts.

Sine and/or everyone else, please decide if this is too way out there for this forum, if so i'll go get a myspace blog or something, but i do feel this is a good place for discussion of experimental stuff. if i'm wrong, let me know.

so tonight i'm trying wormwood...(with some tobacco and st john's wort)

EDIT at 10PM pacific: that was fairly mellow but a little weak. now for the catnip!

There's nothing wrong with experimentation, as long as it's taken in moderation, and in the privacy of your own home.

I agree with you completely on that Sine. Actually, I'm looking to find a place that will ship Absinthe (wormwood) to Ontario. Found one possibility, but the costs are prohibitive compared to the places that won't ship to Canada. Ugh.

in the u.s. you can buy wormwood leaf in a whole bunch of places. i've been getting mine at whole foods. there are recipes and such for making absinthe out of the leaves on the net, if that's the way you want to go.

a good site is www.basementshaman.com and they have wormwood extract, but i don't know if they'll ship to Canada.

Trying to make absinthe from wormwood is quite dangerous, sort like trying to get yourself blind from homemade wood alcohol. BTW, they are still two different things. I don't get much out of wormwood myself, but I imagine the absinthe is a different story. I need to get some absinthe at a cheap price. I think the least expensive I can get for decent stuff is on the range of $80, becuse of the fucking import costs. Grey, if you have any luck for something cheaper (for US shipping), let me know.

Catnip is made for cats, not humans. Doesn't do much for us, but it's like a wild MJ trip for cats.

probably you're right, i thought i felt something, could have been a placebo effect though.

holy CRAP.

i smoked salvia with a torch lighter as Sephy recommended. woke up in the middle of the night with mad colorful waking dreams. i felt like the colors were so vivid i could just lose myself in them forever and anon.

i suppose this is all to get away from my porn problems, but it is kind of fun...if anyone wants to help me with those, please do! (i posted awhile back about my issues with and addiction to certain kinds of imagery, but had it deleted due to fear)
