I certainly dont think anyone will. If he started the bidding at, say, $100 then maybe it would have gotten up to $1,000 - 3,000, but starting it at 10K is rediculous and shows he is only looking for easy cash.

Most of the gag items, like the guy who sold his forehead space to advertising, start low and go up because of the popularity/novelty of it.

The problem is that you can see how many bids the item has, so if you see a 10K item with 0 bids, you know the guy is just trying to get some phat loot, so nobody bids.
