so i got a TinyMUSE account today in a world called FlipsideMUSE...
when I was very little i had some recurring dreams. my house was up on a hill, and when i left my room, it was a mansion instead of a little house with wonderful things to explore. my mom and dad were gone somewhere. i went around and found stuff, played, etc. the only catch was that there were workmen working on the house, and if one of them caught me they'd say "kid, you have to go back to your room", and I'd wake up.
when i was ten or eleven i tried to recreate the dreams i had in my imagination, i talked to some friends about them too, i kept trying to do "conscious dreaming" where i'd lay on my bed and try to go back to this area in my mind and explore it some more. i got some good mileage out of it and it merged with some of the fantasy stuff i was getting into, so the workmen became a cult that performed sacrifices (i found this out on one of my imagination explorations), gems started littering up the place, and etc.
my goal is to recreate this again on this MUCK, one of the guys i talked to showed me how to make a house and stuff.
anyone ever mudded (text-based) or built with something like this?
