Allow a jump to any forum at any time. There are occasions when you can't jump and you have to go back (ie. after you've posted a thread).

Well, there's a "Jump to: " selector at the bottom of each message...

2 clicks is very stressful, I know.

Yes, but not on all of the screens you get to when you're writing a new message or when it's posted. It's just something we had before that I used all the time. Also, on most screens, the selector isn't at the top and you have to scroll down all the way to the bottom

Also, after you post a message, it instantly goes into the message thread. In the old forum, it waiting about 5-10 seconds before it did that and gave you the option of returning to the forum or jumping to another forum instead. I found that very useful myself.

I didn't. I liked having the option to jump to the forum AS I was looking at my message, because usually I'd do a once over with my message and then go back to the forum. Or I have the option to go to the main Shrine page. Before, I'd have to do an extra click on the little screen to view my message first. (The refresh deal is just a little hack I did real quick. My goal is to remove that page totally.)

This is how Invision Board does it, and if it wasn't for the fact that it's not free, I'd probably be working with it instead.

Something I'd also like to see added in is the total word count. The other forum had it, I always thought it was interesting to see how many words actually gets typed into this place over the years.
