After visiting Florida for the first time this past Christmas, I can say it is truly the weirdest place I've ever been.
I don't know if it's the water, the air or the swamp gas. But people there are just a hodgepodge of contradictions. And I was in a liberal city where I thought it would be semi-normal. Normal for a Floridian is Batshit crazy to a Canuck.

Sure, I see the tag on Fark and I laugh at the stories. But the reality is sooo much funnier. And scarier.
Aside from the Hurricane whupping it gets, Florida is a damn gorgeous place. Too bad the people are whacko's.
