Question about the display of this site

On my laptop and mostly all other computers except my main one, the banner stretches out an enormous length beyond the border of the screen, sometimes more than double. It makes reading posts a gigantic hassle. Is there a way I can fix this?

I noticed that problem as well. Even though i run with a 1280x1024 rez, the computers at school didn't and I had a really hard time reading some messages.

No clue. The total width of the banner is 450+272+254 = 976 pixels, so it shouldn't be "double-sized", unless the resolution is, say, 640x480.
