Rednecky styff

With Seeker's obsession of calling people rednecks and his fear of ever being one, answer me this...

Dude, don't sink to his level.

im simply curious, maybe i have been under the wrong impression for all these years thinking golf is a high class gentleman's game.

Well, a lot closer than i thought it would be, but still an astounding 2 votes to 1. Sorry Seek, you're the biggest redneck on the board.

PostPosted:Sat Jun 11, 2005 8:03 pm
by Nev
That was six to zero the other day. I almost suspect Seek of stacking the votes somehow, but I don't have any proof on that, so I'll just let it be.

If you're going to make the implication so blatantly, might as well go for broke.

What the fuck were we talking about?

Yeah, because the black man is always coming around and degrading whatever they touch. It's not like we're talking about a real life Happy Gilmore here.

"The son of a black man and a Thai woman - even a German geneticist couldn't have thought that one up! Black athletic prowess, Buddhist concentration...FUCK YOOOOOUUUUU!!!!!!"

Taken from Robin Williams' Live on Broadway routine. I'm not being racist - if you hear the routine it's pretty obvious that his real target is the "old WASPy shits" who run country clubs and the like and refuse to let black people join.

Now as far as I know, these shows are all located in NON-Recneck towns.

Who plays the most golf? The southern united states. If you ask a redneck what they like more, golf or WWE? They will say golf. Flip, you are living proof of that. You also forgot to mention, Nascar, cowtipping, marrying your cousin at age 16, and supporting the republicans, on the side of golf, in your little poll.

The public opinion is what matters, your just going to have to live with it. Now, if you'll excuse me i have a tee time at 3:00 with one of my managers and a partner at a law firm who is a client of ours. Why dont you go grab a brewski, put on your favorite Stone Cold shirt, and watch some reruns of big naked men touching each other.

Now, Seek, just because you have a crush on John Cena doesn't mean the rest of us have to. :)

You are correct. If you can find anytime where i have said or done any of that (Independant voter, btw, mentioned multiple times) then i will gladly take the title as biggest redneck on the forum from you. Be that i never have, you get to be the Cletus of this place until it happens.

I decided it would be more fair to take one thing that we both publically admit to enjoy. Just because your hobby happened to be voted the biggest redneck activity and you the biggest redneck on The Shrine, dont have hard feelings.

Because we ALL know that Japan, the pro-wrestling capital of the world, is also the redneck capital of the world. Flip, all your poll proves is how ignorant 11 people at the Shrine are.
"big naked men touching each other."
Flip, that was gay porn you were watching, not WWE; you sick freak.

I'd like to ask if you guys would take it "outside" (e-mail or somewhere else).

I should really talk to Sine about seeing if I can moderate the board, or something...I dunno if anyone here would trust me with that kind of power anymore, but I feel strongly about not letting you guys (especially you, Seek) degenerate the board I started into verbal abuse, bashing, and epithets.

We've seen far worse. Trying to reign it in by force just makes it more complicated.

Maybe. I dunno. When you start calling someone a "sick freak" I think a line has been crossed. At the very least, I don't want to see it anymore.

Sick freak is amongst the tamest things I've seen on the intarweb as of late.

I know...I called someone a cocksmoking assmonkey just the other day...

Sure, you could take that out of context...I meant it as a compliment...

See, but that's actually funny. LOL! Cocksmoking assmonkey...

Kind of reminds me of a scene from the Dragonlance Chronicles, where Tasslehoff felt that insults like 'foul knight' and 'elven scum' were horribly unoriginal, so he started asking people things like "Is that your nose or a disease on your face?" and other interesting taunts. I think there's something to that actually. :)

Those are great books...I've lost my copies, but I ought to pick them up again...

Agreed, golf is a too expensive hobby for most. But, watching the 'ol tellyvision is as free as the road kill Aunt patty cooked on up for supper time!

Which is why you are the only one here who actually watches golf on TV; but I didn't know about road kill your aunt Patty cooks you for supper. Then again, I guess that is common in South Carolina or where-ever you are from. I still think it is something you PROBABLY should have kept to yourself.

It's a "Seeker managed to piss off Flip and now they're fighting" thread. I don't even remember how it started now. I wish Flip would just let it go, but I wish even more that Seeker would just shut up for awhile, or, failing that, stop insulting people with little to no provocation.

Appearently golfers are rednecks while the WWE is sophisticated entertainment. I know, laughable.
I wish Flip would just let it go
Consider it gone, the point was made, Seekers hobby is rediculously redneck as voted by a smart group of people. Seekers denial of acceptance just further highlights his moronic nature.

No, WWE is sports entertainment, it's a bit of comedy, and a bit of violence, and a bit of exploitation of women (which is more comedy). and Golf is a boring sport that only Rednecks would actually watch on TV. And in the non-redneck world, we spell "rediculous" as ridiculous.

What smart group of people are you talking about? The 12 people who are ignorant? I also believe that your denial of logic proves you as the moron, as well as ignorant. You are clearly a redneck, and it is clear that you enjoy watching golf on TV, but not WWE. Quite ironic in an indirect way, you are living proof of your own blatant ignorance.

I'm not, and I don't know what language that is. If anything, my heritage is more Eastern European: Lots of Polish, Russian, and German. Some Dutch is present as well, but then again, so is Lebanese and colonial American - my grandmother's side of the family had a Revolutionary War general somewhere along there, according to family lore.

Lol @ Seeker, always needs the last word, no matter how stupid he makes himself look. When you resport to making fun of grammar and spelling, you've already lost.

Heres some logic for you, logic boy. In Japan (your so called wrestling capital of the world) golf is considered a luxory for the ultra rich as it is expensive as shit to play there. They are fanatical about it, you'll see Japanese business men going nuts on courses even around here.

Next time, know your role and stick to trolling things you may have a clue about, IF YOU SMELLLLLLLLLL, WHAT THE FLIP.... IS COOKING!

Not that I want to encourage this discussion, but just for the record, Seek, *I* watch golf on TV sometimes, and I'm about as far from redneck as you get. Not that I think there's anything wrong with rednecks, but I've lived in cities or suburbs my whole life. I find golf on TV to be oddly calming at times.
