I'm almost not hung over anymore! And it's only 24 hours after I started drinking...
There are those who would argue that drinking on weeknights is bad for you. To them, I say: Bleeeaaaarrggghhhh, all over their shoes.
*Sigh*

I don't get hangovers...I blackout, I sometimes puke, then I wake up feeling great. Very weird...but most times I'd take the hangover in exchange for remembering what the fuck I did...and why certain people are not talking to me the next day...

Heh, just got drunk and stoned at a party with some of my sister's friends. Sometimes I think that's the only reason why I put up with some of her shit, because she throws some nice parties at my house.

Usually I handle my liquor without any issues or hangovers...but like last year, I decided to play "catch up" when I showed up to the club later than everyone else. Apparently I was hitting on a bartender (and, judging by the pocket full of free passes the next day, doing fairly well) when I turned white and wobbly, puked on myself and my friend, got kicked out of the club, was apparently put in a taxi (where I puked on myself a few times...all liquid though), somehow got home and woke up in my grandmothers bed (I was doin reno's on my place).
No hangover though...but I'd glady trade feeling like shit the next day for the shame and embarrassment that memory brings with it.

I rarely get hangovers, even after Thursday night when I woke up with 22 bottle caps in my pocket. If my stomach is rotting the next day, I usually just drink a bunch of water, then induce vomitting. Then I feel fine.
Blackouts are frequent, though. Many times waking up in strange beds/places with no idea what happened the night before. I've been told I've made several death threats over the years.

The whole idea behind blackouts just scare me. It's like your body is reacting on its own and you aren't really doing anything on a conscious level. I would really hate to know what my brain is capable of without my consciousness to keep me in check.
It would really suck to wake up next to some girl, and you don't even remember the sex. Even worse if you have a girlfriend/wife; you cheated on your chick, but you don't even remember if the sex was good.

When I was going to A.A. meetings, something I heard repeatedly is that alcoholic blackouts are actually more psychological than physical, and that they're "a pretty sure sign of alcoholism". However, given their religious overtones, I ended up finding almost all their damn science pretty suspect in the end.

Regardless of the cause, I think that consistently having blackouts is a sure sign that one should drink less.

I've only blacked out once before, and that time I DID end up with some girl I didn't know =P
And yes, I was scared shitless because I thought I might have picked up some STD or something. The thing is, I do not think it was my fault, I do think that I was drugged, because I didn't drink THAT much.
I never have hangovers, but sometimes I do get really lazy and do nothing but play guitar and play videogames for the whole day.
As far as drinking goes, I like drinking, I haven't made it a habit, I usually only drink on occasions because I often end up at the bars and spending like 50 bucks.
