What a fucking great end to a perfectly uneventful evening..

So tonight, I just entered the car accident club. While driving home from work this evening I was hit by a 2004 ford focus with a woman driver. Since she couldn't turn around in the car dealership right at the main intersection where my bar is located, she decided to turn into the lane my 99 saturn just happened to be in. There is a paint scrape from the middle of the driverside door panel to the rear quarterpanel and there is now a dent at the seam where the back door and the front door meet and there is a missing peice of plastic at the front part of the wheel well. Obviously, this was her fault. So right when I go to get out of my car the first thing she says to me "Oh my god please don't hurt me..." It's going to be one of those nights...Mind you I just got off work, I smell, I look like shit, I haven't shaved in days because I have no social life to speak of at the moment, and I'm 6'5". I said two words to her all night and that was, after her breakdown of the quote above over and over again, "Chill out." I wanted to add more colorful adjectives but I knew 1) The cops would be involved 2) I had two beers at work and I had finished my last one 20 minutes before leaving, 3) There was a witness. So I called 411 since 911 doesn't work on cellphones, t-moblie dialed the city police for me who put me on hold, for 3 minutes. Needless to say I was pissed, so I called up to the bar to have my bartender adam call the cops (responded 3 minutes later.) Then called my mom. While this was going on I overheard her on her phone talking about "losing a ring" and "saying No". She later said that her fiance was on his way up. Great. So she's obviously having a bad night to begin with. When her dad shows up he says she wasn't even supposed to be there in the first place. She was probably 19 or 20. Cop finally rolls up I give him my information since I'm the calm one. Thank god for being on a stimulant, but thank god for not getting an onsight test. No damage done to me, my car looks like it's been keyed by an iron beam. Cop issues her a ticket, which means 1) she admits to hitting me 2) she assumes all blame 3) my insurance rate goes up. Fucking great. I was 3 months away from 3 years of having my license and not getting into an accident. 3 months....And I have to drive to cape girardeau tomorrow.
I guess it was a good thing that I had changed my insurance address to STL or else the insurance company would have thrown a hissy fit if they had found out that I was working at the car was at my mom's for the last two months. Not only do I pay a $575 every 6 premium, but now, since this is the second accident on the car, there goes an added 15%-25% I believe. It's a good thing I'm moving too. Shit. It's 2:30, I have to be up in 4 hours. Damn.
