The solution is really stupid when you figure it out.

Pretty fun, i got it fast enough. Your comment that the solution is dumb made me test out the theory that ended up being the right answer quicker then i probably would have.

Good, because it took about an hour or so for me to figure it out.

Yeah I figured it out, at first I was focusing on the numbers, then I focused on the name of the game. Pretty silly that only 2 of the numbers have any sembalence on the result.

I can get the game to claim "We think you probably got it" or somesuch, but the way I figure it out only works 95% of the time.

I have to head to work right now, otherwise I'm sure I'd see why what I'm doing works ~most~ of the time (I'm sure its some silly reason, someone spoil it for me).

Edit: Ah, nevermind "Congratulations! We have another Potentate of the Rose." I'm probably a retard for still having no idea how the name relates to the solution...

Edit again...ahhh....I "see". I prefer logical mathematical deduction as opposed to that silliness

Got it after 28 rolls. I already had the idea that it had something to do with one number before I read this whole thread (due to the name of the game), and then after Eric's vague hint it hit me.

Whee.

Okay, so you got the petals around the rose, but when the petals turn to polar bears and the rose turns to an icehole, can you figure out how many fish and plankton there are?
