At work, I got put into an office instead of a cubicle. I share it with one other person, but she's pretty cool (for a girl lol). I got a new pc, and an LCD. A nice upgrade from my last pc, but I'm missing my old PC..this one has little quirks I cant seem to work out.
Like for instance...Firefox KEEPS FREEZING EVERY 2 MINUTES!!!! AHHH!! It's seriously pissing me off. It will freeze for about 10 seconds every few minutes. (Which it just did while typing that sentence) It was a clean computer with some of the same basic programs we use here installed. Ive uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it witht he latest version. I dont know what else to do. I cant find anything specific about this problem.
I also use GAIM so I can connect to AIM and MSN. I have to use the HTTP connection with the MSN account or it will rarely connect. Then sometimes, if I have MSN connected, GAIM crashes so hard that the only way I can kill the program is to reboot. ARGH!!!
