My little brother just got married to a girl whom he's only known for a MONTH AND A HALF! Fucking christ. What the fuck? I'm wasted and pissed. Mental, where are you??? I need you to verifiy if there is a John R. Shearer in Monterey CA. He's a clerk. He signed the marriage certificate. Need a link? It looks photoshopped.

Wow, friend of mine just got engaged to a guy she's been with for 3 months.

Someone (named Turtle, I don't remember his real name) from my school got married to a girl from Calgary who he met online after 2 weeks, and they have 3 kids after only 2-3 years of marriage.

I call fake. The identifying information looks the same as normal text displayed on a screen. If it was physically typed on the document, the black text wouldn't be so consistently black. Also, look at the surrounding "white space" near the Record No. in the upper left. It's inconsistent with the rest of the certificate, which makes me suspect that someone covered up the original information. You can see similar inconsistencies with the rest of the identification information.

It does look fake since it's a scanned copy and I do agree with you about the white boxes. I also cannot find out who Jim R. Shearer is.

Also, the City CLerk does not handle marriage certificates in Monterey CA (or monterey MA either) this is done by the COUNTY clerk, who is Stephen L Vagnini (asst. Barbera Vandegrift)

That thing is totally PSed, dude. It's not even a good fake. The font is standard Times New Roman. The dots below Kenneth Andrew Rich are partially erased by a PS eraser. The county clerk is real, but they probably took an already done certificate, erased the names, and typed in their own.
