Free mp3 to .wav converter?

Anyone have a reliable site where i can find a free program to do this? Im always hesitant to DL something from wacky sites you hit on a google search. Especially when the URL is microcosoft.com or the header says 'free mp3 to wav converter from your dard drive!'

I tend to go for free web-based apps if I can so you don't have to worry about downloading and installing anything.

Just pick wav as the output type, select the file, and click OK. I just tried a short mp3 and it seemed to work.

I'm pretty sure winamp does this. You have to change the output plugin to something...I'll have to mess with it and see..Ive done it before.

That would have been my second recommendation. Audacity is what I use to make all the ringtones I have on my phone. It is an excellent program.
