  • The Enterprise pilot kicked ass.  I think this series has a ton of potential, since it's presenting a completely fresh take on things.

  • Your favorite band sucks, and you have terrible taste in movies.

Heh.. one thing I loved about all space shows are the battles.. and it seems the Enterprise sucks ass in a fight. No shield; you got hull plating instead.. which is fine, keeps with the time. The few times they did fire back they didn't hit shit.

I won't pretend to not notice their 'subtle' sex appeal scene went a little out of their way for that one.. quite unnceccessary, but I won't be the one complaining :P</div>

<span style="background: black; color: black;">I think the music fits in well with the series, seeing how humanity is finally starting to explore deep space after nearly a century of being held back by the Vulcans.</span></div>

<div style='font: 11pt Dominion; text-align: left; '>Star Trek songs have never been very lyrical.. hell none of them have had lyrics (and no, the "ahhh"-ing in the original doesn't count)

Too pop-like.. not enough instrumental</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Yeah, but does it have to sound like a gay Bryan Adams? The great thing about the old songs was they were majestic. Great symphonic pieces. Now they just want a reason to release a music CD</div>

<div style='font: bold 9pt ; text-align: left; '>Not really...DS9 was great, especially in the end, and Voyager was very enjoyable. Of course nothing touchs TNG but it'd be hard to mimic success like that for any series.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>ST:TOS was damn good for its time.
ST:TNG was awesome!
ST:DS9 was really good, but not as good as TNG (or Babylon 5, for that matter; the best sci-fi series ever).
ST:V just got boring after several episodes of "Here's our ticket home...awww man!"
And I don't even want to see how bad Bakula is doing with Enterprise.

BTW, what the fuck is up with "Enterprise"? There is no Enterprise before the ST:TOS one. This is the type of plotholes I'm talking about. If Gene was here, he wouldn't fall for the ratings game that they are playing here. I can just hear the sound of the producers sucking Satan's cock as they are continuing the "franchise".</div>
