<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>I didn't like the Sixth sense all that much, mainly because I guessed the ending of the movie too early on (they were way too obvious) and once you know that the rest of the movie pretty much sucks.</div>

<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>I still think Unbreakable was a whole lot better than people gave it credit for. Sure it was slow, quiet and maybe even drab in its presentation...but I felt it was for the effect of 'reality' that was pitted against its subject matter.

Signs just plain sucked.

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>I'm sick of you people who figured out the ending of 6th Sense and feel like you have to rub it into everybody's face every time the movie is mentioned. Ok, you're a deductive mastermind, Seeker, we get it. Now get over it!</div>

<div style='font: 11pt arial; text-align: left; '>It was the fact that the theme and the plot were completely disparate elements of the film. In a well-told story all the elements should feel necessary to the story's structure in some way. The dialogue, the characters, the plot, the setting, the theme...all should seem as though this is how they <i>had</i> to be in order for the story to work the way it did. In the case of Signs, however, there's a feeling of contingency between the plot and theme. Both were begging for your attention separately instead of acting interdependently, which caused them to work against one another and detract from the story as a whole. In other words, I didn't feel as if the alien invasion was necessary to the "miracle" theme, and vice versa - at least, not in the way the story was constructed. Both were interesting in and of themselves, of course, but they failed to interact.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>I liked the idea of a former pastor in a movie, because you don't see that too often. That was one of the redeeming qualities of the movie, and they shot it all to hell with that ending.</div>

<div style='font: 11pt "EngraversGothic BT", "Copperplate Gothic Light"; text-align: left; '>At the same time, though, it just goes to show that MNS's idea of the surprise ending is starting to get to be cliche, because that's his only trick. He needs some new tricks if he expects to win out the crowd again.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well obviously I'm going to mention that I didn't like the movie for various reasons. The Sixth Sense wasn't really very enjoyable anyways, it's a movie that appeals only to the lowest denominator.</div>

<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Well in my opinion if the only real entertainment aspect of a movie is a surprise ending (as in the 6th sense, it really didn't have much else going for it), then it really is a poor film, I would much rather watch something like Braveheart or Lord of the Rings (even though I knew the story to both)</div>
