<div style='font: 12pt ; text-align: left; '>Though I don't watch movies too often, it's certainly true in a lot of Anime and games I've seen. "Oh no this is too predictable, so let's throw something that totally doesn't make sense to show we're smarter!" Of course, since so many things operate by that logic, you can often outsmart the producers by just guessing the least likely outcome. So not only does the outcome suck, but you already know what it's going to be too.

That's why I usually prefer to read about anything before I actually watch/play them. I don't like getting into this one-up game of guessing with the authors. If the plot reads like something I can expect and follow, fine. It's not a spoiler really since I would have guessed that anyway. If it's like 'haha you were wrong all along', that saves me the time of watching/playing and maybe even paying for the product. Very rarely do I read something that actually make sense (in retrospect), and to me that makes the story more enjoyable to see why an improbable plot twist make sense. Cloud's part in Final Fantasy 7 is probably the best if not the only good improbable plot twist that I enjoyed, more so the second time when you can actually see why it's like that.</div>
