<div style='font: 9pt ; text-align: left; '>First off, episode 101 was a complete waste in every way. You can tell that they just put it in there for no reason. There's been a few eps like that along the way (the hot springs with Jiraya and Tsunade wasn't much better). If they're waiting for the manga, fine. Why not just take a week off?
I was really hoping to see Tsunade operate on Rock Lee. I thought for sure I'd get to see most of the operation, if not all of it. They spent so much time on the story in eps 99 and 100 and just to get the chance to see Rock Lee fight again (one of my favs, along with basically every other Naruto fan) would great. Now they make us wait. Damn them. She had been studying all that time and came up with the whole 58% probability thing, why wait?
I'm still in the middle of the Aoi/Itade arc. It's OK so far, but a bit of a letdown after all those fights (Orichumaru/Third, Naruto/Tsunade, Jiraya/Tsunade/Orichumaru) and the operation. I just wish it would have come after the operation. I am expecting it to get better and Aoi is a neat character. But with the whole Itachi storyline on the backburner and the operation, did we need to get into this now?
Don't get me wrong, I love the show and am anxiously awaiting the weekly releases, I just thought that after 90 episodes of basic non-stop action that they slowed it down a little too much, particularly with such an interesting thing as the operation to go with. Now I'll have to fill my time watching the Transformers and Futurama eps I had on hold thanks to Naruto :-)</div>
