Cartoon Network used to run an ad about some Ninja show that had like funk music in it from the creators of cowboy bebop and I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me and it looked pretty interesting and I wanted to see about picking it up or if my friend had seen it, anyone know the name though?

Probably. The only other one was Wolf's Rain, and I know that doesn't involve ninja or funk. (Actually, Samurai Champloo involves samurais and hip-hop, but it's close enough.)
