What's going on? I read 100, when he met Near wearing L's mask.
And I've been looking at the raws, now I wanna know wtf is going on. At the end of 104, Light looks like he's lost his mind.

N is wearing L's mask because he's waiting to make sure all the guys didn't already get controleld by Kira before his plan can be executed.
After making sure people weren't already controlled by the DN, N's plan was that they'll stand here while waiting for Kira's new follower to come and write down their names. Since the real Kira won't have his name there, that'd be proof Light is Kira. He had Gionivan (or whatever his name is, one of the two henchman of N that's not Commander Resta) swap out the DN with some fake pages.
Light foresaw this and had another fake one plus the real one and Kira #2 is supposed to be using the real one. After he wrote down everyone's names, he comes in and says "God, the infidels have been terminated" and Light said well done. Except no one died.
It turned out N figured out from Milo's death that Kira #2 had a 2nd real DN so he had Giovanni fake another DN. Light goes crazy because his plan is foiled and admit he's Kira.
People are saying Gionivan is the real god here, able to fake a whole DN in just one night with identical handwriting and whatnot, and I'm inclined to agree. Then again, Watari can hit a pistol of a guy in a car from a helicopter. It seems like the guys under L/M/N's command are much cooler than themselves...
