DN part 106 - a small step for DN, a new low for manga kind?

You'd think after Prince of Tennis's 127-125 tiebreaker where the first person that gets up wins (like Dragonball, literally) you wouldn't be able to hit a even lower low, but Death Note is determined to top that. Based on part 105 so far, our hero, Kira, will attempt to write down 8 people's names, 7 of whom are special agents and armed with guns, and make a break despite being cornered in a room with no exit by 3 FBI Agents, 4 Japanese special forces guys, and N. The current speculation is that Kira will use his watch and probably use his blood (after all 7 special agents will be shooting at him) and write down everyone's name. After all if even N's henchman, Gevanni, is suspected as a Super Saiyan/God/etc, then the hero of the story is allowed to have some special powers.

We may witness history when next week's DN comes around. Oh yeah, next week's Eyeshield 21 should be pretty interesting too.

He knows N's name is Nate because N showed everyone the DN that Kira #2 was working with.

Rumor says DN ends in 2 weeks (106 & 107) so at least the pain will end soon.

Just a question, Don...if a manga series, or any creative effort, actually gets so bad that it starts to hurt, why don't you stop interfacing with it?

I mean, I don't read Robert Jordan books anymore...

DN is bad in a spectcular way that I think you've to see it finish, especially since it actually started pretty good. There's plenty of other stuff that are just bad but not unique in anyway and those I stop reading/watching pretty quickly.

Prince of Tennis is in the same boat too. Maybe that's the author's strategy: if you can't make something great, make it really bad so people at least remember it!
