the manga is even more sadistic. they actually make you care for the characters with flashbacks before they die

Is that the movie where they ship high school students to a compound and make them kill each other until one stands victorious? If so, yes, good movie

I just finished reading the manga, and I didnt think the art was that bad, though it defidently improved as the series went along.
