It's one of the better movies around. If you liked Goodfellas, you'll like this one. It isn't quite what Goodfellas was, but I tend to find that it is underated in comparison by a good amount. Both movies are excellent. Based off of true stories. If you see this movie around, it is worth every penny. Some people like it better than Goodfellas, it is all a matter of preference.

I HATED Casino.

To me, Goodfellas was a brilliantly paced and written mob movie with the ring of truth echoing throughout. Casino was...not. To me anyway. It had the ring of truth, but I felt like the writing was uneven, and the pacing was even more so.

Bleah. Pass. But, whatever floats your boat...

Yeah, I kind of felt that Sharon Stone's character seemed to be very much like Michelle Pfeiffer's from Scarface; only Pfeiffer, in my opinion, was A LOT better. Speaking of Scarface, for six years it had the most uses of the word "fuck" in a movie; at 218. In 1995 Casino took the record, only at a count of 422 and is still currently #1 for the word fuck usage within a movie (that is, if you do not include one low budget foreign film whose point was to use profanity excessively).
