Eyeshield 21, The End?

For those of you're following the manga, do you think it is really over? A lot of people are swearing it can't possibly end like this because the real Eyeshield 21 hasn't shown up yet, but manga on Shonen Jump are known to have abrupt endings.
Well, guess we'll find out next week.

I havent been able to keep up with the manga owing to the fact that I am on dialup and it takes me too long to download stuff. Fill me in on what happened.

I doubt it. Nice cliffhanger mind you, but I doubt seriously they'd end it like that.

I think it's more likely Hiruma threatens the refs than something like that. Well the only way the game would not end is if Monta was out of bound before he got tackled, which is hard to tell based on the picture.

Yeah I cant imagine the series ending like that.
