197-199 has a special intro from the 3rd movie
200-204 = Kakashi Gaiden, yes FROM THE MANGA OMFG
205 = Part 2 of the manga.
The filler is ending! WHOOOOOOOOO

THANK THE LORD! Although this last arc was rather good, especially for filler, I'll be happy as hell to see it end

According to the message in ep 196 from Dattebayo, the filler ends soon. So the start of the next season in Japan sounds about right, which is right around the time Eric said from what I gather. Let's pray

Awesome...where should we start? Is there anything in the filler that is permanent? Any of the filler somewhat good?

The filler can't be permanent, that's why it sucks. Yeah, they gave some play to the whole Sakura doing the medical ninja thing and Hinata liking Naruto, but it's not like skipping that will cause you to miss anything important on any level.
Only very recently has the filler been tolerable. Start at ep 195 and the second movie to get yourself back into it. The current arc is actually turning out pretty decent, so it should be a good warmup to the real stuff. And the second movie was actually pretty damned decent, MUCH better than the other filler and movie.

Actually looks like the current filler arc doesn't end until ep 201 with something else starting up for 202; hopefully that's the beginning of the Kakashi Gaiden

I'm actually liking this arc. Don't get me wrong, it's not manga-level anime, but it's probably the best of the filler, including the movies.

They changed it again. On Feb 15th, they're airing a 2-ep special to start part 2 of the Naruto anime, Naruto Shippudden. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that's when then the new series starts. Check out
www.leafninja.com and you can see the ep names and air dates. The new series starts a new series of numbering, so it won't be hard to miss
