I say no Venom in this movie! There isn't enough time for them to develop the character by the end. They need to build it all up, then make #4 a Venom-fest.

Well, the scenes could all be from the first 45-50 minutes of the movie, and Venom could be built up over the next hour and a half (well, depending on how long it is going to be).

I don't think that even that much time will be adequate. Unless he's going to get the symbiote suit in the first 15 minutes, there's no time, imo. He needs to get the suit, fight Sandman while becoming more and more aggressive and turn Eddie Brock into an enemy. Then he gets rid of the suit, Brock gets it, Venom becomes a huge enemy and they go from there. I don't see that all happening in 2 1/2-3 hours unless they rush some stuff.

I guess it's possible to do it in 1 movie, but I think they'd be losing some of the oomph if they do.

I am slightly worried about that as well. I'm hoping that it doesn't end up being like Star Wars Episode 3 and having Vader(The REAL Vader) show up in the last 5 minutes. =o

I say there's an 85% chance that's exactly what'll happen. The way this trailer went, the movie's about Spidey needing more power, getting it through the symbiote, then struggling in his life with it due to the extra aggression it gives him and takes over his life, then he struggles to get rid of it. They ain't gonna do that in less than an hour an a half (I'd say closert to 2 hours), so the end of the film is the symbiote finding its way to Eddie Brock.

But that's my prediction.

I think Zeus is probably right on that one. Though, whichever way they do it, I am sure it will end up being at least decent.

As for Starwars. I always felt that they should have taken elements from episode 1 (like Quaigon and Darth Maul) and cut out kid Anakin, and make him a teenager when they found him instead, and have Episode 2 as Episode 1. Episode 3 as episode 2, and the new Episode 3 taking place somewhere in between: where all the fun stuff happens that we'll never really know about now.

There was SO much potential to have a great movie in between Episode 3 and 4. Episode 3 I actually found was a fairly decent movie, I almost enjoyed it on the level of my favourite Star Trek movies (as far as space movies go).

VERY nice trailer. I'm pretty pumped to see this one.
