The Shrine

This came on the dish last week and I finally watched it last night. Man, it was bad. And not just normal bad I mean real bad. Not even B movie more like C movie. I can see why it did so poorly now. There are no redeeming features of the film other than the chick trying to join the mile high club and her boobies.

Not sure if they tried to be campy on purpose or if it just turned out that they suck hard, but it didn't work one way or the other. It was real bad. Don't even bother.

I haven't seen it, but is it bad enough that it is entertaining? Like Anaconda and a lot of 80's action flicks? =P

I don't think it makes the full circle to being so bad it's good. It's just really, really bad

Wow, that's a tough one......very close, but I think Battlefield Earth took itself seriously enough and sucked hard enough it's still the leader

Ok, because I haven't seen Snakes yet, so I had to ask. Battlefield Earth is my benchmark for how bad a movie can truly be.

I liked it, but i saw it in a packed rowdy theatre. So the cheese on the screen was accented by the crazy audience to make a fun night.

Exactly, that movie was intended for a drunken rowdy crowd of people who were going to Mystery Science theature that shit

Yeah it sucked, but it's fun to see once with an enthusiastic audience.

Oh I could see how it could be MADE to be fun depending on the audience, but there's nothing redeeming about it on its own. Kinda like the Star Wars Holiday Special. I actually had fun watching it but that was 'cause a friend and I laughed so hard as some really ridiculous parts and made so much fun of it that we had a good time.

But I'd never watch it again.

No, that was different. It's was a campy musical that was tongue in cheek. This was just a horrible "horror" film that tried to be cute and it didn't work on any level. I seriously could not recommend this film to anyone
