Just curious to see whether or not any of the other hip-hoppers on here have got her new album. It's really quite good.

She's one of the most creative and original MCs to come out in awhile, and you have to give her props just for being a 5'5" British female white girl who still managed to get herself signed to Def Jam. I'd say, anyway.

Not really. If you don't like hip-hop, you won't like Lady Sov.

sorry, I should have fleshed out my question a little more. I don't really like hiphop, but I like Jurassic 5, Saul Williams, Deltron 3030, Dr.Octagon, and most of the handsome boy modeling school albums.... But pretty much everything else in the rap/hiphop world just repulses me.

The best description of her I can give in a sentence or less would be "Eminem meets Avril Lavigne".

She doesn't make gangsta rap, but it's not "positive rap" like J5. It's just...rap. She's very clever though.
