The Shrine

Anyone catch this yet? It's sort of a loose sequel to the previous movies, sort of like Superman Returns, but it stands well enough on its own. It's a movie clearly made for kids, but it also has a lot of stuff for older fans.

I'm really impressed with how well it turned out. It wasn't perfect (the villain and main plot were kind of meh), but it excelled in areas I didn't expect it to, like character development and the score/soundtrack.

If you're familiar with the Turtles outside of the 80's series(comics, movies, or hell, even the games), I think you'll enjoy this move.

And yes, Casey Jones does have a good amount of screen time.

Hey hey...I was the BIGGEST TMNT fan as a kid...and I dragged my gf to see it opening weekend.

I was not dissapointed. Sure there's some weird happenings (April is now an expert martian artist who owns a shipping company??) but it was highly entertaining and I loved it.

I should see it or pick it up on video. I really meant to do that.

You know I molested my childhood once....landed me in jail for a few years ....really I wouldn't advise throwing that term around so lightly.....that being said....

TMNT totally was craptacularly awesome.....I mean it was awesome but man it was crap at the same time. but it really has me wanting another....

300 was a far better craptacularly awesome movie and I think transformers will be as well......

I only molest little girls. And sometimes boys.
