Maroon 5...

I have to say I've underestimated them. The album isn't that bad. Personal favorites are "Makes Me Wonder", "Little Of Your Time", "Nothing Last Forever" and "Back At Your Door".

Don't know what it is with me lately and Maroon 5, John Mayer, Coldplay, Ben Folds and such lately.

I did however pick up DJ Shadow's latest album "The Outsider" and it wasn't his greatest work. It definitely didn't hold a candle to "Entroducing..." which was sad because that album completely kicked ass.

Anyone have any good "Chamber Pop" selections? "The Decemberists" are pretty cool and Jon Brion is awesome too and I know Bjork falls into that category (as well as many other categories of music), I was just curious if anyone knew of anything else.

Plus, when the fuck are we going to get a new Postal Service album? For fucks sake!

For Chamber Pop (if I'm interpreting the definition right), check out Hooverphonic. The first 3 albums are superb! Also, their latest album, although not my favorite does have their songs purely in an orchestral and vocal format.

Sounds like you're into some trip-hop with vocal content. Given your preferences, I would recommend Royksopp, Zero 7, Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack, Morcheeba, Olive, Mono, in that order.
