DB dropped Bleach! At the worst f'ing possible time in the storyline... who else can I get it from that's decent? I need my fix!

... you really think they were joking? But they didn't release a Bleach this week... and nothing in there sounded like a joke. It looks pretty official to me... I know they like to joke around... but this isn't April 1st and there's nothing in that announcement that seems to even hint "just kidding"!

That's because there was no Bleach in Japan this week. ^^

That's a post of Sine bitching about them not being around a week they didn't air... I had automatically assumed this earlier but then saw that news post. That's a pretty unfunny dickish joke.

Like I said, they do this alot, mainly because their IRC channel starts getting spammed with people asking "OMG WHERE'S BLEACH, OMG WHERE'S NARUTO!!!!! GIMMIE GIMMIE GIMMIE". Whenever there's not going to be an episode.

Well there are plenty of douchebags to go around... but why not just have a small news post that says "No Bleach this week; it wasn't on" that takes 5 minutes to post instead of being dicks about it to those of us who don't go screaming on their IRC?

Animejunkies was another group of ass-hat fansubbers of crap quality, but they did the series people liked and did them considerably fast, so they got away with a lot of stuff.

What are you gonna do, not download it? DB are pricks sometimes but they're also fast, consistent, and have pretty decent quality....and you're getting it for FREE. Their mentality is "it's free, bitches, you'll take it and like it". Sure, they don't have to be bitches, but they want to be. It's not like we can complain.

Just look for the letters "YHBT" (You Have Been Trolled; actually used to be the address for their site) somewhere, whether it's on the torrent you're downloading (instead of (DB ) at the beginning, you'll see (YHBT) ) or somewhere in the "news" posting. Sometimes it ain't even there.

Bleach and Naruto are the reason Funamation bought them. They ain't droppin' those ones, man. No chance.

Besides, I'm now about 63 eps in (third arc, 3 or 4 eps in). The show still isn't crack-cocaine so if I had to wait a couple of weeks, I'd live. Look at Naruto, motherless fucks are taking a 3-week hiatus between eps and have only release 30 eps in almost a year since they came back. Bleach is moving at a decent pace still at least as well.

The Chinese fansubs seem to have at least 25 different groups all fansubbing the same popular stuff so there's not much of a monopoly on anything. A couple groups tried to be pricks and they just get replaced by others. It's rather ironic when you've a fansubbing group saying they own the copyright of this so you're not allowed to host a torrent on a rival site. Beyond the fact that fansubbing groups owns nothing in terms of copyrights, this is China we're talking about here so even if they had the copyrights, no one will care anyway.

I enjoy the current note at the top of their website:

"Attention to the faggots packeting the site: If you're doing it because we dropped Bleach, lol at you. If you're doing it for some other reason, let us know why."

Yeah, some people called it good filler, but it was during the Naruto filler crap and I really couldn't stomach anymore filler crap at that anime watching point in my life :p

Thing about it is, it's not a GINORMOUS drop-off in quality like Naruto was, which is why it took me a couple of eps to confirm it (the fillers always seem a little silly, don't they?). Very noticable but not nearly to the extent.

But then again, that doesn't mean the filler's THAT much better than Naruto's either. It's just that I don't see Bleach's non-filler as being nearly as good as Naruto's so the discrepancy is not nearly as much. The filler is better but not by much. But because the show isn't as good it's not quite as bad.

On a side-note, I'm kinda shocked the anime is going ahead with the main story arc.

The pace of the manga is really slow, and has no end in sight atm.

Yet the anime is jumping right in, One Piece you are not, I wonder how this will be handled.

I've loved all episodes of Bleach... yes the Bounto arc was filler but it was good filler I thought. Some of the previous episodes (130's I think) were some almost bad filler (like the dead baker episode... WTF?) but it's still worth watching.

I cant wait for the main arc to start...
