Great, now you're going to tell me there's no Unicron or those construction types or one of the other million obscure transformers!

...really, was anyone actually holding out hope on this or something?

The Dinobots are amongst the most popular Transformers, have been for years. There's obviously been enough enquiry that Bay had to provide a response.

That's cause every boy loves dinosaurs and they were used as comic relief. I never thought we were expecting them to be in the next movie. Although they better do a more transformer-centric story this time around and some character development... so we'll see.

They better hurry up before Optimus Prime's voice actor dies... that guy's freakin 85 or so.

I think it was more due to the fact that "me Grimlock kick ass" :-)

And I couldn't exactly call Unicron or the Constructicons "obscure". Six Shot or the camera dude were obscure (the camera toy is FUCKING rare), Unicron and the Constructicons had some pretty big parts in the series, as did Soundwave

I don't think they'll have the constructicons since they already had a decepticon named devastator in the original movie and the constructicons came together in a voltronesque fashion to create devastator, the most powerful of all the decepticons (and my favourite).

Haha, he's not THAT old =P He is in his early 60's; I didn't realize it was the same guy who did the voice for Optimus Prime in the original animated series. I also didn't realize that Hugo Weaving did Megatron.

Hmm you're right, he's 64. For some reason I thought he was older.

Peter Cullen is the man. I still can't get over that he does Eeyore on winnie the pooh. OPTIMUS PRIME is NOT EEYORE.

That's like when I found out that the guy who does Bender's voice in Futurama is the same guy who does Marcus Fenix's voice in Gears of War. I would have never guessed that in a million years.

I liked that they brought him back to do Optimus again.

Megatron said what, 6 lines in the whole movie? It's not enough to get a gauge on who it was
