I haven't seen it. Do you find it only mildly entertaining because of the Christian influence in it? Or is it really only mildly entertaining? It's been a very long time since I read Narnia, but I did read CS Lewis's Cosmic trilogy recently; fantastic! It fuses Tolkien's Universe with post WW2 Europe (though it was written during the war) along with Christianity. Essentially, the book assumes the truth of Tolkien's works, and that this is how things have developed between then and now.

No, the movie itself is only mildly entertaining. The review sort of says all.
