Hulk didn't suck.

Actually it was kind of awesome.

a lot of smashing.

Norton was brilliant.

the shared universe stuff with marvels flicks was a bit more subtle.

a lot of great things about it

I'd probably go with a 7 out of ten....solid but fun movie.

You disliked it that much, huh? I was one of the few who thought it was a pretty solid flick

yeah but you're an idiot.

Bruce Banned should not be an underwear model....bruce banner needs to be a scrawny nerdy doctor.....an edward norton if you will.....

actually hulk was a good movie surrounded by shit.....the beginning was horrid, the ending was even worse, but the middle was actually a pretty decent hulk movie....especially the desert scenes....but combine it all and it was a pretty shit movie...he didn't even really smash much of anything...he's hulk he smashes....and having his dad be absorbing man is the most inanely retarded thing of all time....even worse than your movie taste.

when I say a lot of smashing I do mean a great deal of smashing.....a lot of folks show up though too. a call to everyones favorite tv reporter, a few setups for more in the marvel chain, a therapist named Leonard Sampson...it had everything I could want and also sets up a villain for a sequel without having a cliffhanger ending it's more an Oh, that's whose next moment for hulk fans where as with most people they won't see it people who know their hulk villains and real names will go...SWEET!

These two movies (hulk and iron man) are really good movies if you look at them in the context that there will be more of them. The movies taken on their own are not really great. The character is introduced, he goes through a big conflict, but in the end nothing is really resolved. So in terms of introducing characters, this is a great setup for future movies. Taken on their own, they are terrible teases that are tremendously fulfilling movie experiences. I left the theatre thinking "I'm really excited for thor, avengers, or whatever marvel universe movies are coming out in the future".

It's also great that it is a universe. As Tony Stark, Stark Enterprises, and SHIELD were all introduced in Iron Man and were shown as part of the universe the Hulk was inhabiting. No Nick Fury, but what're you gonna do? Also, the hinting at Captain America was really nice too. When is that movie coming out?

Also, the Star Wars: Clone Wars trailer was a masterpiece. Since I really liked the Cartoon Network shorts, I am SO excited to see this movie. I <3 Grievous.

with that second Blonsky/Hulk fight where he just had a little super soldier serum in him......holy poop that made me really jazzed for a cap movie....

This one right now is definitely the Leader in th movies of quality from this weekend. Definitely a Head above the Crappening. ugh

I was trying to say that he wasn't in BOTH movies. Do I still fail? I'm not sure why I am failing. Is me not knowing the origin of my failure a separate, yet equally distinct failure in and of itself? If so...... then damn.

Thumbs up. I liked the Ang Lee movie - it wasn't great, but it was interesting, had some fun scenes, but it fell apart at the end. This one was good throughout.

One small problem: there's no way an active special forces solider would be that out of shape, I don't care how old he is. If you're not in top physical condition, you're not active special forces, end of story. I know why they did it (so we could see him change), but it still drew me out of the movie.

the one problem I had with this is with the stuff they cut to make it a 2 hour movie....this was a 3 hour movie with a lot of relatively important exposition cut. Yeah it didn't really involve smashing but there was a lot of stuff explaining things like why he had them drop him from really really high, who Betty's Boyfriend was (It's Leonard Sampson and they shouldn't have cut the scene that actually names him and get's into him becoming friends with banner...

There were a lot of great cameos though....one totally off screen but is actually the reason they filmed the university fight like they did (Sunny Day Suddenly becomes Thunderstorm). Right now I'm just really stoked for what they are doing....Especially with both Captain America and Thor being pieces reflective of their source material. Cap is going to be a world war 2 flick and thor is gonna be high fantasy....sweet...

I cannot wait for Cap or Thor. I hear the guy from Journeyman is potentially taking the role for Thor. That'd be cool, I think.

I love that they're staying true to the origin for Cap and doing it during WWII. That is going to be some crazy, Nazi-whooping fun right there. It'll take the place for Indiana Jones not fighting Nazi's anymore. :)

it'll be interesting. at this point Marve is Going for Dicaprio and Brad Pitt as Cap ther preference being DiiCaprio.

Ugh. Really? Dicaprio?

I have nothing against ol' Leo when he's in a proper role. I think he's a very good actor, but I don't see him as Cap. He's a bit too baby faced, I think. He's certainly got the acting chops, but not the look. Of course, I wouldn't like Brad Pitt in that role either.

Personally, I'd rather see someone like Matt Damon in the role if they're going for a big name actor. He's a bit short, but they can always play camera tricks.

I'll see it regardless though...that's for sure.

Heh, 10 years ago, everybody would have said that Leo couldn't act. Now, the change. What? Departed? That con man movie with Tom Hanks?

I thought he was good in the Aviator actually. I don't see him in many roles, but I liked him in that,

Blood Diamond is a shitty movie, but Leo is brilliant in it.

And, really, do you NEED more than the Departed? I mean, it's the fucking DEPARTED.
