Aye, I really do like the show. I think in our current days of continuing story drama, it's actually refreshing to go back to the episodic shows of lore. (Even if Plot B sometimes has some continuation between episodes.)

Some of the anti-realism bothers me (illegal searches, a new ultra-rare disease every week), but it's nowhere near as bad as CSI (a show that I despise).

That's about perfect.

Nothing really bothers me personally about the show. The final episode of season 4 is my favourite to date, and it is the most unrealistic of all.

I too greatly enjoy House. Cracked seems bitter-- I'm sure they'll be funny too, someday...

We're big into House now. I completely agree that every episode is pretty much the same, but it's still awesome.

I think part of the reason for the formula is that it's really hard to develop accurate medical jargon/symptoms/ailments without falling into a predictable pattern. The writers and the doctor consultants are probably two different groups.
