See this movie. I guarantee you, it will change how you think about the world. Absolutely one of the best philosophy pieces I've heard.

Got a great cast of intellectuals and some celebrities too--Lewis Black does a voice--and it's directed by Scanner Darkly's Richard Linklighter, and down in the same style too.

I've seen it. However, the rotoscoping technique used in WL, and later SD, is all I recall about the movie... other than that I liked it. Perhaps a second viewing is in order.

It really is worth seeing again and again.

Preferably, for each time, under the influence of any number of illicit substances.

I own this movie in my collection although I haven't watched it in years. It's not for everybody but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

A Scanner Darkly is an excellent movie. First movie I've seen that approached both negative sides of the drug wars at the same time.

Also, I hate those Schwabb commercials with the rotoscoping in it. It's like they are saying "Hey, rotoscoping is cool and popular, even though it has nothing to do with the commercial!" It would be like having a stock broker just liquid metal morph to his office and start talking to the camera... and there was absolutely no reason for it.
