Totally random musing on manga

So I was looking at last week's Naruto, Naruto was fighting some guy, and then at the last frame the guy is like 'I underestimated you but now I will use my super duper awesome nijitsu power.' Nothing special about that, but in Shonen Jump there are always the captions added by the editor. So, below the last frame it says: "Stay tuned for next week when soandso reveals his super duper awesome nijitsu power."

Problem is, next week's manga isn't even drawn yet. Maybe next week is a flashback. Maybe next week for some reason the battle focus shifts elsewhere. I see this a lot in Bleach when the editor assumed that there was no way this battle can possibly drag on any further and will write something like "Next week: Victory at last for Ichigo?" and then next week would probably be either a flashback or spend the entire week doing nothing again. I suppose this is why they usually put a question mark instead of an exclamation mark, but it's still pretty funny.

Not sure if there's even any point to all this, but it's something I've noticed. I'd hate to be the guy writing the 'next week' caption for HXH, since it's virtually wrong every single time because nobody can guess what Togashi has in mind.

It pretty sad that they make this shit up as they go along. This is how NOT to write a good quality story.
