Mark your calendars! GI Joe Resolute will be on adultswim.com starting April 17th and it will be premiering on the TV April 25th.

I am not a G.I. Joe fan, growing up it was the Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters action figures that had my attention. However this adult version looks really awesome. They had me with the ninja killing spree.

If you are lame and dont know what I am talking about here is the teaser trailer:

Note: For my fellow Canadians G.I. Joe Resolute premieres on Teletoon April 24th at 11:15pm ET/PT. Im soo happy. No downloading for me.

On the subject of G.I. Joe...

I'm not that into the animation anymore, but the live action movie that's coming up looks OKAY.

Then there's the "trailer" that one dude cobbled together from bits and pieces of other movies as well as some bootleg-ass live action G.I. Joe movie that I've never heard of.

IT LOOKS FREAKING AMAZING.

This dude has some editing talent. That fake trailer looks a hundred times better than the movie they're actually making.

Apparently the bootleg-ass scenes are from a fanmade film called "G.I. Joe : Battle for the Serpent Stone" from two years ago.

I swear, this stuff seems more exciting to me than the big-budget release. The big-budget release seems soulless. This fan community stuff has actual heart.

Kind of off topic on the animation series, I'm sorry. I can split this off into a new thread if you guys want.

Oh yeah, it was that guy who played Toad in X-Men who's Snake Eyes, ain't it?

At least they got the word "wreck" into the Wayans' character :-)

I could probably go dig up some old gijoe's at my friends old house. We had a GIJoe graveyard by his fence.
